L36 to NYC

I am Jo. An ordinary girl , with extraordinary dreams of a better life . In pursuit of that objective, I began to study Law , at the age of 41 ! The reaction to this news from family and friends was quite surreal . “What on earth are you doing that for, at your age ?”. Seriously , I do not know which offended me more . Framing a statement of “why “, I sort of understood. It was the “at your age ” that made me gasp .

2012 seems like yesterday , obviously it wasn’t . Yesterday was Monday 13th May 2019 . Today ,I have decided to share my journey with you , Law student or not , to help me, and hopefully inspire you .

Welcome to my journey into Law . Its a journey I didn’t expect , but here I am embarking on a new challenge and goal. An English Law Graduate, who has become determined to be a New York Attorney at Law . Yes New York, yes, you read that correctly . So here we go , through the obstacles, challenges , heartache and life hacks to get me there.
